The Health Center of Colorado hosts meeting every week for individuals seeking a group environment to share their thoughts and experiences with others. We also regularly have guest speakers and lectures on healthy living, overcoming addiction, getting through withdrawal, dealing with temptation, and many other topics that our patients will find helpful and interesting.
We have programs dedicated to getting individuals to take social action and encourage individuals to form their own activism groups and perform civic duties in the community and beyond. For example, each Saturday members of our local group get together and perform a beach cleanup. This gets people outside of their homes and into the community to do something positive and good for the environment.
Our theater is big enough to house an audience of up to 300, so friends and family are invited to any of our events put on weekly by guests as well as patients. Some events include concerts, charity functions, food drives, and more. If you’d like to volunteer for any of our events, we accept help anytime. Simply add your name to our volunteer sign-up sheet and a member of our dedicated staff will contact you with information about how to get started with our center.
